Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

Rice Breaks Iverson’s Triples Record, Hoyas Fall to Seton Hall

NEWARK, N.J. – Despite graduate student Kaiden Rice (89) surpassing former Hoya All-American Allen Iverson (87) for the most made 3-pointers in a single season, the Georgetown University men's basketball team's comeback bid fell short as Seton Hall (19-9, 10-8) escaped with a 73-68 victory on Wednesday night.

ON THE RECORD
"He has a knack of getting in there, especially when they switched. They were switching a lot and we wanted to get him the ball, but a few times we didn't realize the switch and went away from it… Collin did a great job of driving those guys and taking his opportunities when he had them." - Head Coach Patrick Ewing on Collin Holloway

"We just have to fight and keep competing. You have to want it that bad that you are going to do everything that it takes to get it done. We made an adjustment to go big, made an adjustment to go small and we took away things they were getting in the first half. Then in the second half, we had some miscommunications on switches… It's something that we are continuing to work on and we're only going to get better as we go on." - Coach Ewing on handling adjustments
