WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's tennis team defended home court at Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School on Saturday, downing UConn 6-1 in the BIG EAST match. The Hoyas are 7-12 (3-3 BE) while the Huskies drop to 8-9 (2-2 BE) on the season.

Agata Mikos dropped the first set in the No. 4 match. Mikos fought back and pushed it to three sets, eventually securing a win over Caroline Cook.

Morgan Coburn took down Denise Lai to finish the match with the Hoyas on top.
