WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's tennis team celebrated senior day with a win at Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School on Saturday, downing Villanova 4-2 in a hard-fought match against the Wildcats. Five of the singles matches went to three sets, which caused the Hoyas to play for over four and a half hours on Saturday afternoon.
The Hoyas won four of their final five regular season matches, including four straight competitions against BIG EAST rivals. The Hoyas finish 8-12 (4-3 BE) in regular season play.
