WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University football team fell to the Columbia Lions 42-6 on Saturday afternoon at Cooper Field. The Hoyas drop to 1-3 on the season while the Lions move to 2-0 on the year.
ON THE RECORD
"Obviously, not the result that we wanted but I thought our guys played and battled hard, especially coming out of the half and scoring when we did. We made some mistakes in all three phases, which you cannot do against a good team like Columbia but was impressed with how our receiving corps played from top to bottom.
Joshua Tomas,
Cameron Crayton and
Asante Das played extremely well and
Dorrian Moultrie gave us a spark on his kick return to set us up for our touchdown. We will take a hard look at what we are doing this week and prepare to face Fordham in New York." - Head Coach
Rob Sgarlata on today's contest against Columbia
