TOWSON, Md. – Georgetown University's field hockey team lost 2-1 to visiting Temple at the Towson Field Hockey Complex on Friday afternoon in BIG EAST action. The Hoyas fall to 1-13 on the season and 0-5 in conference while the Owls improve to 7-6 overall and 2-3 in league play.

• Vivienne Trumpbour scored the lone goal for the Hoyas.
• The Blue & Gray had their chances as Elena Leahy and Lois Lekawael logged four and three shots, respectively.
• Ella Fahey made three saves in the setback.

• Alize Maes led the Owls with a goal and an assist on the day.
• Agustina Tucceri scored as well while Line Neilson, Julia Bunch and Caitlyn Amsden added assists.
• Molly Frey had a pair of saves in the win.

The Hoyas head to Rhode Island for a pair of games next weekend, taking on BIG EAST foe Providence on Friday, October 20 and Brown on Sunday, October 22.
