WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Georgetown University field hockey team lost 4-3 to Providence on the road at the Lennon Family Field on Friday afternoon in BIG EAST action. With the loss, the Hoyas fall to 1-14 on the season and 0-6 in conference while the Friars improve to 9-6 overall and 3-3 in league play.
 
Hoya Highlights

• Sydney Yodh, Vivienne Trumpbour and Sophie Towne each notched a goal for the Hoyas.
• The goals were Trumpbour's seventh, Towne's fifth, and Yodh's second of the year, respectively.
• Ella Fahey made three saves in the setback.

 Providence Notes

• Ally Decoste led the Friars, scoring three of Providence's four goals.
• Celie Preveza scored the Friars' remaining goal.
• Asia Porter recorded no saves in the net.
