Hoyas Set to Compete in St Andrews Links Collegiate

WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University men's golf team is set to compete in the inaugural St Andrews Links Collegiate Presented by TopGolf and World Wide Technology. The event will be held in St Andrews, Scotland October 23-25. The event will begin with two days of stroke play on the Jubilee Course followed by a day of medal match play on the Old Course at St Andrews.

Hoya Lineup
  • The Hoyas will have all 10 student-athletes competing this weekend with four seeing action as individuals.
  • Junior captain Jacob Finard will be in the one spot for the Hoyas this week after an impressive outing at the Georgetown Intercollegiate where he finished 16th overall.
  • Conner Willett will be in the two spot for GU this weekend after finishing 17th overall in the Hoyas last outing at the Georgetown Intercollegiate.
  • Barnes Blake is in the three spot for GU after a top-50 finish in his last outing for the Blue & Gray.
  • Max Hutter will be in the four spot for GU. Hutter has had an impressive fall season with a stroke average of 74.
  • Alexander 'Zander' Maloy will be in the five spot for the Blue & Gray after finishing tied for 40th overall in his last outing.
  • Charlie O'Donnell will be in the six spot for GU after making his first collegiate appearance last weekend.
  • Charlie Creamean, Ryan Moylan, Bo Maradik and Carsten Judge will compete as individuals for GU.
 
About the Tournament
  • The event will have three other institutions competing. The field is comprised of two ACC schools and one SEC school as North Carolina, Notre Dame and Vanderbilt will also be competing in the event.
 
Up Next
The St Andrews Links Collegiate will be the final event of the Hoyas fall season. GU will return to action in the spring where they look to once again compete for a BIG EAST Championship.
