WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University football team (4-4, 2-1 PL) will close out its home schedule with a conference matchup against No. 19/21 Lafayette (6-1, 2-0 PL) on Saturday, October 28. Kickoff is slated for 12:30 p.m. on Cooper Field.

ABOUT THE HOYAS
- The Hoyas will be looking to bounce back after dropping last weekend's contest against Colgate 28-18.
- Against the Raiders, Nicholas Dunneman led the Hoya offense with 15 catches for 205 yards, which is good for third highest in single game program records, and one touchdown including 97 yards after catch.
- Quarterback Tyler Knoop completed 32 of 57 passes for a new career high of 353 yards and one touchdown.
- GU ranks second in the Patriot League in passing offense with 1765 yards (220.6 ypg).
- The Blue & Gray's offensive weapon, Joshua Stakely, is tied for second in the league with 10 touchdowns ( 5 receiving, 5 rushing) and is third with 7.5 points per game.
- Defensively, the Hoyas lead the league in total defense (294.6 ypg), passing defense (162.4 ypg) and interceptions (6) and are second in scoring defense (20.7 ppg).
ABOUT THE LAFAYETTE LEOPARDS
- Lafayette was selected as the FedEx Ground FCS National Team of the Week after defeating then-No. 11/15 Holy Cross, 38-35, on Saturday to halt the Crusaders from matching their record of 19 consecutive league victories.
- Leopards' sophomore running back Jamar Curtis rushed for 229 yards and two touchdowns on 30 carries to lead the way against the Crusaders. Curtis leads the league in rushing with 927 yards (132 ypg) including six touchdowns.
- The Leopards are leading the nation in sacks per game (4.14) and rank second in tackles for loss (8.0).
THE MATCHUP
- The Hoyas and the Leopards will meet for the 26th time in program history with the Hoyas winning three of the last five meetings.
- Last season, GU downed Lafayette 30-20 on the road with a dominant performance from the Blue & Gray defense. The Hoyas tallied seven tackles for a loss of 33 total yards, including six sacks on the day with Ibirogba leading the way with 2.5 for a loss of 14. Ibri Harrell tallied one sack while VeRon Garrison earned half a sack.
