Hoyas Fall to No. 19/21 Lafayette on Senior Day

WASHINGTON Danny Lauter set a new program record in his first career game as the Georgetown University football team (4-5, 2-2 PL) fell at home to No. 19/21 Lafayette (7-1, 3-0 PL) 35-25.

ON THE RECORD
"It was a good Patriot League football game. It went back and forth. I am really proud of Danny Lauter in his first start and threw for 428 yards. Overall I thought our kid's effort was great but I don't think we played very smart at times and we put ourselves in some tough situations. I give Lafayette a lot of credit because they made the most of their opportunities. We are looking forward to our bye week as we prepare to work to win our last two Patriot League games of the season." -said Head Coach Rob Sgarlata
