WASHINGTON –  Georgetown University Football quarterback Danny Lauter earned a Patriot League Weekly Honorable Mention for his performance against Lafayette on Saturday, as announced by the league on Monday.

• This was the sophomore's first career weekly award. 
• Lauter got his first start in his first career game as a Hoya on Saturday. 
• The quarterback set a new program record for single game passing yards with 428 yards and tied the program record for single game pass completions with 35. 
• The Connecticut native threw three touchdown passes including one for a GU season high of 81 yards.
