Georgetown Bests Butler in Five-Set Battle
Â
WASHINGTON –  Georgetown University's volleyball program (13-13, 4-10) bested Butler (10-15, 5-6) in five sets (25-21, 23-25, 23-25, 25-17, 15-11). The Hoyas are now 4-10 in the BIG EAST while the Bulldogs fall to 5-6.
"Lots of credit goes to Butler for playing hard, they've been battling these last few weeks so we knew we had to bring our A -game today and I feel we did that in a lot of aspects. We've been putting in so much work these past few weeks with a lot of closely contested matches, just so happy for the girls to get this win on the road. Looking forward to a great week of practice as we move forward to next weekend." – Head Coach A.J. Bonetti
"It was an awesome team win! I'm so proud of how hard we have been working these past couple weeks especially in our recent matches. We're playing very clean, competitive volleyball. I am beyond proud of the grit and fight we've been showing and can't wait to see what we can pull together in the next coming weeks. We're in it till the end!"- Right Side
