WASHINGTON – Georgetown University football player Joshua Tomas has been crowned the 2022-23 NCAA FCS statistical champion for receptions per game and receiving yards per game.

• Tomas recorded 100 total receptions for a winning average of 9.1 receptions per game. 
• The Illinois native accumulated 1,231 receiving yards for 111.9 receiving yards per game. 
• The wide receiver was named to the Associated Press All-America Third Team. 
• He managed seven-consecutive Patriot League weekly honors this year tallying eight overall.
• Tomas has been invited and will be attending the Maryland Pro Day for draft-eligible players on March 29.
