Hoyas Fall to Maryland

WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University baseball team fell to the Maryland Terrapins 10-7 on Tuesday evening at Bob "Turtle" Smith Stadium in College Park, Maryland. GU falls to 14-10 on the season and UMD improves to 15-9.

ON THE RECORD
"Maryland did a good job today and they took advantage of the free bases we gave them. Ubaldo Lopez had a great day as him and Austin Kretzschmar hit those two home runs for us that gave us a chance. It was good to see Keith Savoy Jr., Andrew Jergins and Ayden Head get in there and give us some energy today. We just couldn't put it together in the back part of that game and their bullpen did a good job of keeping us off balance. Looking forward to getting back at it tomorrow against Mount St. Mary's" - Head Coach Edwin Thompson
