WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's tennis team stunned Butler in a sweeping 7-0 victory Wednesday night to close out the Hoyas west coast trip.
The Hoyas started out strong with a 1-0 lead after winning the doubles point.
Zamaan Moledina put up a dominating 6-0, 6-2 win over Patrik Joss while
Arthur O'Sullivan and
Adhvyte Sharma both collected victories with a score of 6-2, 6-2.
Akira Morgenstern clinched the win for the Hoyas with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Aiden William.
Kieran Foster added to GU's win with a hard fought win over Thomas Brennan (6-4, 7-5) in the number one singles position.
Jake Fellows finished the sweep after fighting back from a first set loss to down Alvaro Huete 6-7, 7-5, 10-8.
