ON THE RECORD
"Really proud of our guys and how we bounced back after yesterday. It was a whole team effort, and that first inning was great with all of our guys staying consistent in the box.
Jake Bloss was outstanding today and Yoder got that one out when we needed it, and
Cody Bowker did a really great job in three innings there. Overall, we didn't give them many free bases and we pitched really well. The offense stayed really consistent today and the middle of the lineup was able to keep things going. We scored in every third of the game which is something we have been focusing on so really proud of our efforts in regard to that. Really proud of this group picking up our first BIG EAST opening road series win since 2015. Happy for our guys and looking forward to getting back to it on Tuesday." - Head Coach
