WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University baseball team fell to the Towson University Tigers on Wednesday afternoon 7-2. GU moves to 24-21 on the season while Towson improves to 14-32 on the year.
ON THE RECORD
"Great job by Towson today, they pitched well and hit very well. Their pitchers were solid today and kept us off balance. It was good to see
Kai Leckszas have a good outing for us on the mound today in his 2.1 innings. Alex Fenton and
Cam Guarino also did a good job coming out of the bullpen for us.
Adam Dapkewicz's home run was great to see it unfortunately just came a little too late in the game for us. We will regroup and get back to work ahead of our weekend series against Butler." - Head Coach
Edwin Thompson
