WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's field hockey team dropped a BIG EAST showdown 4-0 on the road at UConn in Storrs, Connecticut on Friday afternoon. The Hoyas fall to 1-8 on the season and 0-2 in league play while the Huskies improve to 3-6 overall and 1-1 in BIG EAST action.
 
Hoya Highlights

• Ella Fahey made her first collegiate start in goal, collecting 17 saves in the process.
• Darby Campbell and Sophie Towne managed both shots on goal for the Hoyas on the day.

UConn Notes

• Julianna Kratz led the Huskies with two goals while Madi Herb added a goal and an assist. Sol Simone scored the other goal for UConn.
• Natalie McKenna had a pair of saves in the win.
