WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's field hockey team lost 8-1 on the road at Penn on Friday afternoon in Philadelphia. The Hoyas drop to 0-5 on the season while the Quakers improve to 1-2.

• Emma van der Veen scored Georgetown's goal courtesy of assists from Elena Leahy and Vivienne Trumpbour.
• Bailey Tietz and Ella Fahey split time in goal, combining for four saves on the day. Fahey collected three in her first career collegiate game.

• Livia Loozen led the Quakers with three goals and an assist.
• Courtney Kenah contributed a pair of assists.
• Frederique Wollaret had one save in the win.
