COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Georgetown University's field hockey team fell 5-0 to visiting Old Dominion on Thursday evening in BIG EAST action. The Hoyas drop to 3-8 overall and 1-3 in league play while the Monarchs improve to 7-5 overall and 3-1 in conference play.
Ella Fahey (2-6) had eight saves for the Hoyas in the loss.
Sian Emslie led Old Dominion with two goals while Frederique Zandbergen and Rina Tsioles both had two assists. Tess Jedello posted a goal and an assist as well.
The Hoyas return to action on Sunday, October 13 on the road at Richmond.
