WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's field hockey dropped a 3-1 decision Richmond in nonconference action on Sunday. The Hoyas fall to 3-9 overall while the Spiders improve to 10-3 on the year.
 
Izzy Lee scored Georgetown's lone goal with assists from Ellie Johnson and Sydney Yodh.
 
Ella Fahey (2-7) had six saves for the Blue & Gray in the loss.
 
Clara Larippa led Richmond with two goals while Alexa Derr had two assists. Kristen Rake had four saves between the pipes.
 
The Hoyas return to action on Friday, October 18 on the road at Temple in BIG EAST action.
