WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's field hockey team lost to its second nationally-ranked BIG EAST opponent of the season with a 3-0 loss at No. 20 Temple on Friday afternoon. The Hoyas fall to 3-10 overall and 1-4 in league play while the Owls improve to 9-4 on the year and 4-1 in conference action.
Georgetown notched multiple shots from four different players, including three from
Sydney Yodh, but none of them found the back of the cage.

Elena Perez Alejandro and
Sophie Towne each had a pair.
Ella Fahey (2-9) had a pair of saves for the Blue & Gray in the loss.
Myrthe Schuilenberg and Tess Muller both had a goal and an assist to lead the Owls.
The Hoyas close out their 2024 home slate against Providence and VCU the weekend of October 25-26. All Georgetown home games this season are played at the University of Maryland Field Hockey & Lacrosse Complex in College Park, Maryland.
