Georgetown Football Falls to Colgate

Box Score Hamilton, N.Y. – The Georgetown football team fell 38-28 to Patriot League foe Colgate at Andy Kerr Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The Hoyas are now 1-1 in league play and 4-3 overall while Colgate is now 1-1 in the Patriot League and 2-5 overall.

ON THE RECORD
"It was obviously not the result that we wanted. It was a good, tough back-and-forth Patriot League game. I give Coach Dakosty and Colgate a lot of credit. We had some great individual performances but overall we didn't make enough plays to win this game. We always talk about win or learn so we will go back to D.C. to regroup. We are excited to rebound when we take on Lehigh in another Patriot League matchup on Cooper Field next week." - Head Coach Rob Sgarlata on today's contest.
