COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Georgetown University's field hockey team dropped its final home contest of the year 4-0 to visiting VCU on Friday evening. The Hoyas fall to 3-12 overall while the Rams move to 11-5 on the year.
Ella Fahey (2-10) had 13 saves for the Blue & Gray in the loss, her third game of the season with at least 10.
Morena Macera led the Rams with a goal and an assist on the day. Tatum Anderson (3-1) had one save in the win.
Georgetown closes out its 2024 season on the road next weekend. The Hoyas head to Virginia to face No. 18 Liberty on Friday, November 1 and play at Longwood on Sunday, November 3.
