WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's volleyball team (11-19, 4-14 BE) defeated Butler in three sets 3-0 (27-25, 25-18, 25-19) on Friday evening at McDonough Arena for Senior Night.

"The win against Butler meant so much to me, as that was my last time playing on the court with my teammates. It was a great opportunity to finish out the season on a high note and I was so proud of all of us who contributed on and off the court! It was definitely one of my all-time favorite moments here at Georgetown."

Hoya Highlights

• Giselle Williams led Georgetown with eight kills, while Kamryn Lee-Caracci and Mary Grace Goyena added six apiece.
• Karis Park and Williams tied for a team-high with nine digs each.
• Vaughan Anoa'i and Lee-Caracci bolstered the defense with three blocks each.
• Juleigh Urbina delivered a season-best 43 assists.
• The Hoyas recorded 37 kills to Butler's 34, finishing with a superior .270 hitting percentage compared to the Bulldogs' .140.
