Hoyas Take Down Providence in Straight Sets

WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's volleyball team (10-15, 3-10 BE) took down Providence in straight sets 3-0 (25-22, 25-20, 25-23) on Friday evening in McDonough Arena.

Hoya Highlights

  • Dionna Mitchell powered Georgetown's offense with an outstanding 16 kills and a service ace, while Mary Grace Goyena contributed significantly with 12 kills.
  • On defense, Karis Park was a key player with 16 digs, supported by Emily Wen's 12 digs of her own.
  • Kamryn Lee-Caracci made her presence known at the net, registering four blocks for the Hoyas.
  • Emily Wen also sparked the Hoya offense with an impressive 37 assists.
  • GU recorded 46 total kills.
