WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University women's tennis team released its 2025 spring season schedule on Monday, presented by MedStar Health. The Hoyas have penciled in matchups against 21 different opponents in the spring, nine of which will be hosted by Georgetown. 
 
ON THE RECORD - "Our women's schedule should be a fun one this year. We have strong matches, including Florida State, Delaware, and Long Beach State. We also are playing 9 of our 10 conference opponents which is huge for our program. Finally getting Xavier back on the schedule as well is great because they are the reigning conference champs and I think it gives our team a great goal to strive for throughout the year and see what that level is like to be a conference champion. The Hoyas will begin their 2025 campaign at Yates Fieldhouse on January 24 against the Howard University Bison. A week later, they will host DePaul in their BIG EAST opener at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Maryland. 
 
In their first of seven matches in February, the Blue & Gray will host another match at Woodmont Country Club against Mount St. Mary's before hitting the road for two matchups against Army and Marquette in West Point. The Hoyas will stay in the northeast for matchups at Providence College (2/15) and at the University of Connecticut (2/16). GU will finish off the month of February with home matches at Yates Fieldhouse against Seton Hall (2/21) and Long Beach State (2/27).
 
Georgetown will have ten matchups in March and April, including four against BIG EAST opponents before heading south to Cayce, South Carolina on April 17 for the BIG EAST Championship.
 
GU is coming off of an 8-13 record (4-2 in conference) in the spring of 2024, granting them the three-seed in the BIG EAST.
