  • In the fourth inning, it was Park and Miller again who opened up the inning by getting on base which gave the Hoyas an offensive spark. A single by Emily Strittmatter gave the Hoyas bases loaded with zero outs.

  • Gianna Sciullo was able to put the ball in play, reaching on a fielder's choice and bringing Park home for GU's third run of the game.

  • Brooke Rebhan then brought Juliana Pall, who was pinch running for Miller, home to make it a 5-4 ballgame. GU was limited to two runs in the inning.

  • UT Martin added an unearned run in the bottom of the fourth, but the Hoyas escaped further damage with a 5-3 double play.
