Hoyas Fall to Penn State

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Georgetown University baseball team dropped Friday afternoon's contest to Penn State 7-2 at the United States Naval Academy. With the loss, the Hoyas slide to 29-16 while Penn State improves to 21-19.

ON THE RECORD
"What a great job by Travis Luensmann, he was as good as I have seen him in the last couple years. He faced us last year and did a good job, he really executed on a lot of his pitches. We had some hits early in the game, but we didn't get two out hits and they did, and that was the difference. I thought Everett Catlett gave us a great start; he kept a really good offense off balance. Unfortunately, we didn't play well enough to win and Penn State is a really good team. We will regroup and get back to work before Tuesday's game."– Head Coach Edwin Thompson
