WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University women's basketball team released its full 2024-25 schedule, presented by MedStar Health, on Wednesday afternoon. The slate includes a number of exciting nonconference matchups as well as challenging contests in BIG EAST play.
 
2024-25 Nonconference Highlights

• The Hoyas will host four nonconference games and head out on the road for seven contests including three neutral-site matchups.
• Georgetown will open the season on Nov. 6 against Virginia-Lynchburg in a doubleheader with the Georgetown men at McDonough Arena.
• A trip to University of Wisconsin-Madison is the first road contest before Georgetown returns home to face Temple for the fourth year in a row.
• The Blue & Gray will head out of the country to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island to play two games at the Atlantic Slam W against Cincinnati and Florida Gulf Coast on November 22-23, before traveling to Boston University for a midday matchup on November 27.
• Local trips to Howard (December 1) and Richmond (December 4) close out the five-game road swing.
• The Hoyas will make the short trip to the Entertainment & Sports Arena on December 7 to face Colgate in Coaches vs. Racism, a neutral-site contest.
• Georgetown will close out nonconference play with a pair of home games against George Mason (December 9) and Maryland Eastern Shore (December 28).

2024-25 BIG EAST Highlights

• The Hoyas open the 2024-25 BIG EAST campaign with a conference championship rematch as they face UConn at XL Center on December 15.
• Georgetown's first home BIG EAST contest will be on December 30 as GU hosts Xavier at McDonough Arena.
• GU will begin the new year with a trip to Seton Hall on January 4 and a home game against Villanova on January 8.
• UConn will come to town on Saturday, January 11 as the Hoyas host the Huskies at the Entertainment & Sports Arena for the third-consecutive season.
• Trips to Butler and Providence are scheduled for January 14 and 18 before the Hoyas host St. John's on January 22.
• A visit to Marquette, and a home game against Creighton will close out the month of January.
• Following a road game at Xavier on February 5, the Hoyas will host DePaul and Butler on February 9 and 12 at McDonough Arena.
• Road contests against Creighton (February 15), Villanova (February 19) and St. John's (February 26) will sandwich a home contest against Marquette on February 22.
• GU will close out the regular season against Providence at home on March 1 for Senior Day.
• The BIG EAST Tournament will be played at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut from March 7-10, 2025.
