WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's women's basketball team, in conjunction with the BIG EAST Conference, announced its conference portion of the 2026-27 schedule on Thursday. The Hoyas will battle in 20 league matchups along with its 12 non-conference opponents for a total of 32 regular season games. All BIG EAST Conference matchups will be broadcast on television or on ESPN+.
 
2026-27 WOMEN'S BASKETBALL BIG EAST CONFERENCE SCHEDULE

• The Hoyas open the 2026-27 BIG EAST season hosting the DePaul Blue Demons at McDonough Arena on Sunday, December 6.  The first conference road game is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 10 at St. John's.
• After finishing out its nonconference schedule, the team will host a pair of contests before the holidays with Xavier (Dec. 20) and Providence (Dec. 23) both coming to The District.
• The Blue & Gray will travel to Villanova, Pennsylvania to close out 2026 against the Wildcats on Dec. 30.
• Creighton comes to McDonough Arena on January 2, before the Blue & Gray travels to UConn for a matchup with the Huskies on Jan. 7.
• Georgetown will welcome the Seton Hall Pirates to the District on Jan. 13, and then head out on the road to play at Marquette on Jan. 17.
• Villanova will come to town on January 20, and the Hoyas will travel to face DePaul on Jan. 23 in Chicago.
• January concludes with a home game at McDonough Arena against Butler on Jan. 30.
• Back-to-back road games open the month of February as GU travels to Providence (Feb. 3) and Creighton (Feb. 6).
• The Blue & Gray returns home to face Marquette on Feb. 10, and will then make the trip to Seton Hall for a Valentine's Day showdown on Feb. 14.
• UConn enters The District on Feb. 18, which leads into GU's final road swing of the regular season with trips to Xavier (Feb. 21) and Butler (Feb. 24) on the docket.
• The regular season concludes on Feb. 27 as GU hosts St. John's at McDonough Arena for Senior Day.
• The 2027 BIG EAST Women's Basketball Tournament presented by JEEP returns to Mohegan Sun Arena for a seventh consecutive year from March 5-8.
• The 2026-27 season marks the second year of a six-year media agreement that runs through 2030-31, encompassing coverage across FOX Sports (FOX, FS1), NBC Sports (NBC, Peacock) and TNT Sports (TNT, TBS, truTV and Max). The agreement provides extensive national broadcast, cable and direct-to-consumer streaming coverage of BIG EAST women's and men's basketball games. ESPN+ will also stream a minimum of 75 women's basketball games.
