INDIANAPOLIS - The Georgetown University women's basketball team lost 63-53 to the Butler University Bulldogs on Tuesday evening in a BIG EAST Conference matchup at historic Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. How it Happened

  • An 8-0 Bulldog run forced a GU timeout, but Butler answered with a 3-pointer.
  • Georgetown would score three points in the final minute to make it 30-24 going into the break.
  • Butler managed to hold off every Hoya attack early in the third, and Georgetown went into the fourth period down 48-42.
  • The comeback would never come for the Blue & Gray as Georgetown eventually fell 63-53.
