WASHINGTON – Georgetown University Football Head Coach Rob Sgarlata released the team's 2025 12-game schedule on Wednesday, presented by MedStar Health. The Hoyas will welcome six opponents to Cooper Field in the fall, including the new Patriot League team Richmond. 

"In 2025 we will play a 12-game regular season schedule with an even split between home and away games," said Head Coach Rob Sgarlata. "We will travel to play two Ivy opponents Columbia and Brown. Davidson, Wagner and Morgan State complete our out-of-conference schedule. Our Patriot League schedule will feature seven contests, with Richmond joining the Patriot League. Our league games are concentrated at the end of our schedule with the exception of an early season game against Lafayette on Cooper Field. Our entire program is excited for the 2025 challenge and we are preparing for this extremely competitive schedule."

The Blue & Gray will open the season on the road against Davidson. Last season, the Hoyas downed the Wildcats 46-24 on Cooper Field. The Hoyas will return to the Hilltop on September 6 to take on Wagner for the first time since 2014.

Georgetown will kick off conference action on September 13 as the Lafayette Leopards come to the Hilltop. The Hoyas will hit the road for two weeks to take on Ivy League opponents Brown and Columbia. Last season against the Lions, GU captured the Lou Little Trophy in a 20-17 victory on Cooper Field. The Hoyas will return to The District to close out non-conference action against Morgan State before their week seven bye.

 The Hoyas will return to action on October 18 to face Colgate before heading to Lewisburg, Pennsylvania to take on the Bucknell Bison. The Blue & Gray will remain on the road to take on Lehigh on November 1. On November 8, the Hoyas will return to Cooper Field to face new conference opponent Richmond. GU will close out home-field action on November 15 against Fordham before heading up to New England to take on Holy Cross in the final contest of the season.
