WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's field hockey team fell 2-0 at UConn in BIG EAST play on Friday afternoon. With the loss, the Hoyas fall to 3-11 on the year and 0-5 in league competition while the Huskies improve to 7-6 overall and 4-1 in conference action.
Ella Fahey had five saves in the loss for the Hoyas.
Georgetown managed four shots on frame with
Elena Perez Alejandro credited for a pair and both
Lily Saal and
Sydney Yodh with one each.
Fian Hollander and Violeta Francese both scored for the Huskies with assists coming from Zita Grigoliet, Sol Simone and Olivia McKenna.
Natalie McKenna had four saves in the win for UConn.
