WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Georgetown University men's soccer team played the Seton Hall University Pirates to a 0-0 draw on Friday evening in South Orange, New Jersey at Owen T. Carroll Field. With the tie, the Hoyas move to 6-2-3 on the season and 2-0-1 in league play, while the Pirates sit at 4-2-4 for the year and 2-0-1 in the conference.  
 
How it Happened

• Both teams had chances early in the first half as Georgetown keeper Tenzing Manske made the stop in the 12th minute, before SHU keeper Matias Molina had the save just eight minutes later.
• Manske was on his game making another stop from distance as the Blue & Gray searched for the first score of the game.
• In the final seconds of the half, a cross in from Helfrich looked good but the Pirate defense stood strong to go into the break in a scoreless tie.
• The Hoyas dominated possession for much of the second half with a number of dangerous shots that Molina managed to stop.
• In the physical contest, Georgetown had the upper hand but struggled to break through.
• Despite the overwhelming possession in the match, the Blue & Gray would not find the back of the net resulting in the 0-0 draw.

Of Note

• Georgetown outshot SHU 12-2, and the Hoyas had seven on goal to the Pirates' two.    
• The Hoyas were awarded two corners to Seton Hall's four in the contest.
• Manske was credited with the shutout after tallying two saves in the contest.
