WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University volleyball team is set to host Villanova and No. 13 Creighton this week. The Hoyas will square off against the Wildcats on Thursday, October 9, before meeting the No. 13 Bluejays on Friday, October 10. Both matches are slated for a 7 p.m. first serve. Georgetown enters the week sitting fourth in the BIG EAST standings with a 3-1 conference record.

- Georgetown enters the third year under Head Coach AJ Bonetti.
- The Hoyas are averaging 12.3 kills per set with a .228 hitting percentage, while adding 12.8 digs and 2.0 blocks per set on defense.
- Dionna Mitchell, Samantha Soderlund and Maria Filippova lead the offense. Mitchell has been pacing the attack with 212 kills, a .211 hitting percentage, and 3.07 kills per set. Soderlund and Filippova are close behind, with 156 and 125 kills, respectively. Soderlund is boasting 2.74 kills per set and Filippova is averaging a .236 hitting percentage and 1.92 kills per set.
- Juleigh Urbina leads the squad with 32 service aces on the season. Mitchell has notched 25 aces and Kamryn Lee-Caracci has 23.
- At the net, Lee-Caracci leads the defense with 47 total blocks, followed by Berkeley Ploder and Katherine McGregor with 45 and 38, respectively.
- Graduate transfer Jade Smith has made a strong debut, posting 154 digs and averaging 2.37 per set in her first season with the Blue & Gray.
- Urbina paces the squad with 424 assists at setter, posting 6.14 per set.
- The Hoyas welcomed five newcomers to the roster in 2025: Jessica Lee, Katherine McGregor, Sydney Mercado, Fiona Turnbull, and Samantha Soderlund.
