WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University volleyball team fell to the Xavier Musketeers, 3-0 (25-20, 25-22, 25-19), on Saturday night in Cincinnati, Ohio. With the loss, the Hoyas move to 13-12 overall and 6-6 in BIG EAST play, while the Musketeers improve to 22-2 on the season and 11-1 in conference action.

Hoya Highlights

• Katherine McGregor led the Hoya offense with 12 kills, followed by Kamryn Lee-Caracci with nine and Samantha Soderlund with six.
• Soderlund paced the team from the service line with two aces, while Jade Smith added one.
• Juleigh Urbina anchored the front line with three blocks, while Lee-Caracci and Berkeley Ploder each recorded two.
• Urbina also directed the offense with 28 assists, joined by Lee-Caracci and Ploder with one apiece.
• Taylor Mercado led the defensive effort with 13 digs, while Smith and Urbina added three each.
