WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University volleyball team was defeated by the No. 12 Creighton Bluejays, 3-0 (25-8, 25-17, 25-12), on Sunday evening in Omaha, Nebraska. With the loss, the Hoyas move to 13-14 overall and 6-8 in BIG EAST play, while the Bluejays improve to 21-5 on the season and 14-0  in conference action.

Hoya Highlights

• Dionna Mitchell led the Hoya attack with four kills, followed closely by Katherine McGregor and Samantha Soderlund with three each.
• Kamryn Lee-Caracci led the team from the service line with one ace.
• Lee-Caracci, Berkeley Ploder, and Mitchell each tallied a block to pace the defensive front.
• Juleigh Urbina steered the offense with 10 assists, supported by Natalie Nguyen with five.
• Taylor Mercado anchored the defense with a team-high 16 digs, while Urbina added four and Lee-Caracci contributed three.
