WASHINGTON - Georgetown University women's basketball sophomore
Destiny Agubata was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday after the Hoyas went 1-0 in conference play this past week. Georgetown is 8-4 overall and coming off of a close 76-74 victory over Creighton on Sunday evening.

- In her first-career start, Agubata managed her first-career double-double tallying 16 points to go along with 14 rebounds and going 10-10 at the line in the victory over Creighton.
- She also managed two assists and a steal in 34 minutes of action.
- Agubata's 10-10 performance from the charity stripe was the first since Sugar Rodgers on December 1, 2012.
- Agubata transferred to the Hilltop from West Virginia University, this is her first BIG EAST weekly honor and the third for the Hoyas this season.
