WASHINGTON - Georgetown University's women's basketball team, in conjunction with the BIG EAST Conference, announced its conference portion of the 2025-26 schedule, presented by MedStar Health. The Hoyas will battle in 20 league matchups along with its nine non-conference opponents for a total of 29 regular season games. All BIG EAST Conference matchups will be broadcast on television or on ESPN+ which is new for the 2025-26 season.
2025-26 WOMEN'S BASKETBALL BIG EAST CONFERENCE SCHEDULE
- The Hoyas open the 2025-26 BIG EAST season hosting the Villanova Wildcats at McDonough Arena on Thursday, December 4. After finishing out its non-conference schedule with contests at Wake Forest (Dec. 7) and facing Delaware State (Dec. 13), the team will travel to Providence for a matchup with the Friars on Dec. 21.
- The Blue & Gray will host Creighton at McDonough Arena on Dec. 28, before closing out 2025 at Seton Hall on Dec. 31.
- Georgetown will welcome the Xavier Musketeers to The District on January 4 before back-to-back road games at Butler (Jan. 7) and DePaul (Jan. 10).
- The St. John's Red Storm will come to town on January 13, and the Hoyas will head out to face Marquette on Jan. 17 in Milwaukee.
- The Blue & Gray will welcome the defending National Champion UConn Huskies for a home game on Jan. 22 at CareFirst Arena in Southeast DC. The event will be held in conjunction with Events DC.
- The team will head back out on the road that weekend, visiting the Xavier Musketeers on Jan. 25 at Cintas Center.
- Georgetown will play at home twice more, coming back to McDonough Arena to compete against Seton Hall on Jan. 29 and Marquette on February 1.
- Following this home stretch, the Hoyas will take a trip to Creighton on Feb. 4 before heading to Villanova on Feb. 7.
- Providence will come to town on Feb. 14 for a matchup at McDonough Arena, and the Blue & Gray will travel to St. John's on Feb. 18 to battle the Red Storm.
- The Hoyas will return home to host the Butler Bulldogs on Feb. 21.
- Georgetown will face UConn for a second time on Feb. 26, as GU plays the Huskies at PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford, Connecticut.
- The Blue & Gray will finish out conference play at home as the Hoyas host DePaul on March 1 for Senior Day.
- The 2026 BIG EAST Women's Basketball Tournament presented by JEEP returns to Mohegan Sun Arena for a sixth straight year. Peacock will stream all 10 of the tournament games.
- The upcoming season marks the first of a six-year media agreement, which will span from 2025-26 through 2030-31, encompassing coverage on FOX Sports (FOX, FS1), NBC Sports (NBC, Peacock), and TNT Sports (TNT, TBS, truTV and Max). The agreement will provide major national broadcast, cable, and direct-to-consumer streaming coverage of BIG EAST women's and men's basketball games. ESPN+ will also stream a minimum of 75 women's basketball games.
