WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University volleyball team fell to the George Washington Revolutionaries, 3-1 (25-14, 25-19, 15-25, 25-21), on Saturday evening in Washington, D.C. With the loss, GU slides to 1-4 on the season while the Revolutionaries improve to 2-4.

Hoya Highlights

• The Hoyas were led offensively by Dionna Mitchell and Samantha Soderlund, who each posted 12 kills. Kamryn Lee-Caracci contributed nine kills to the Hoya offense.
• Mitchell notched a career-high seven service aces.
• Vaughan Anoa'i tallied a team-high two blocks.
• Jade Smith recorded seven digs which led the team.
• Juleigh Urbina paced the Hoya offense with a team-high 24 assists.
