WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's squash team returns to action on Saturday, welcoming sixth-ranked Virginia to the Nation's Capital. The 15th-ranked Hoyas and the Cavaliers will face off at 3 p.m. at Squash On Fire in the District.

Hoya Notes
- Georgetown (4-5) is coming off a weekend break following a 6-3 setback to No. 11 Tufts.
- With tightly contested matches throughout the ladder, Ella Schoonmaker swept her opponent 3-0 in the third spot, Ella Erickson won 3-1 in the fourth position and Lindsay Lee posted a 3-0 sweep in the seventh slot.
- Playing in an exhibition, Virginia Wood won 3-1 as well.
- In the top spot, Cici Curran battled to a 3-2 loss while Mary Kacergis also went the distance in a 3-2 setback in the fifth position.
- On the year, both Erickson and Lee have 7-2 overall records while Curran, Kacergis, Schoonmaker, Audrey Gelinas and Wood each have four victories.
Scouting Virginia
- The Cavaliers are 8-3 on the year and are coming off of wins over Tufts and Drexel.
- Lina Tammam is 8-3 on the year while Maryam Mian and Claire Pellegrino both have seven victories.
- Georgetown and Virginia have played six times before with the Cavs winning all six.
Next Time Out
Following Saturday's competition, the Hoyas head to the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference Championships hosted by Virginia the weekend of February 13-15.
