WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's 14th-ranked squash team returns to the City of Brotherly Love to compete in the 2026 College Squash Association Divisional Championships this weekend at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center. The Hoyas will compete for the Kurtz Cup in a battle between teams ranked between 13-20 nationally.

Hoya Notes

• Georgetown (6-8) is coming off a Senior Day victory over Dickinson to close out regular season play.
• On the year, both Ella Erickson and Lindsay Lee have 8-5 overall records while Sydney Bramen and Audrey Gelinas both have six victories.
• Cici Curran, Mary Kacergis and Virginia Wood have all won five times this season.
• Georgetown has won the Kurtz Cup in each of the past two seasons.

Scouting the Field

• The other seven teams competing for the Kurtz Cup are Middlebury, Columbia, Williams, Bowdoin, Colby, Wesleyan and Denison.
• Georgetown went 2-2 during the regular season against the other challengers, defeating Bowdoin and Denison while falling to Middlebury and Williams.
• The Hoyas open the draw against Wesleyan on Friday at 9 a.m. and will face either Columbia or Colby on Saturday.
• Georgetown has not faced Wesleyan since defeating the Cardinals 9-0 in December of 2023.
