WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's golf team recorded the best team round in program history en route to a fifth-place finish at the Evie Odom Invitational, hosted by Old Dominion University. Wrapping up play on Saturday, the Hoyas carded a 16-over 856 (287-276-293) on the par-70, 5,800-yard course at the Princess Anne Golf Club in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The 14-team field weathered an amended schedule that had the teams play 36 holes on Friday and the remaining 18 on Saturday.

OF NOTE
- The 4-under 276 in round two was the best team round in Hoya history, besting 3-under 285 (played on a par-72 course) that the Blue & Gray recorded three previous times: 2023 BIG EAST Championship (2nd round), 2023 UNCG Collegiate (3rd round), 2016 Ron Moore Intercollegiate (3rd round).
- The 16-over 856 is the third-best 54-hole team score in Georgetown history. The score bests a pair of 17-over pars in the 2023 UNCG Collegiate (17-over 881) and the 2023 Atlantic Invitational (17-over 869).
- Wang's 4-under is a personal best for the sophomore and ties for sixth-best in program history for an individual 18-hole performance. She is one stroke behind a quintet of Hoyas who have carded a 5-under and is tied with seven other GU performances.
- Her 5-under 205 ties for the third-best 54-hole individual performance in school history, sitting behind a 9-under and 7-under performance.
