WASHINGTON – Georgetown track & field concluded competition at the Penn Classic in Philadelphia over the weekend with yet another record-breaking performance.
For the second consecutive week,
Jaden Marchan has shattered a program record. The sophomore finished first in the men's 400m invitational race with a time of 45.78 to set a new school and facility record at the University of Pennsylvania's Ott Center. Marchan's finish ranks 11th in the country this season and first among BIG EAST competitors. The previous record stood for nearly 23 years, and was held by James Graham, who ran 46.37 at Notre Dame in March 2003.

Georgetown Men
- 400m Inv.: Marchan set a new program record, facility record and personal best after recording a time of 45.78 for first place. Nicholas Givan finished fifth and set a new personal record with a time of 47.78, while Joshua Davenport took sixth with a time of 47.99.
- 3000 Inv.: MacCallum Rowe posted a new personal record, clocking in at 7:57.75 for second place. Birhanu Harriman (8:07.17), Quinn Parrish (8:07.39) and Alazar Teffra (8:16.23) finished fourth through sixth with Parrish and Teffra each running personal records. Kenan Dagge took 13th with a time of 8:34.14.
- 800m Inv.: Nicholas Medeiros and Christopher Middleton-Pearson rounded out the top 10 finishers, with Medeiros taking ninth with a time of 1:51.92 while Middleton-Pearson recorded a time of 1:53.09.
- Mile Inv.: Tommy Shaw finished fourth with a time of 4:00.78, while Alex Pelov (4:10.54) took 16th and Van Furman (4:14.05) placed 19th.
- 60m Final: Jackson McCusker ran his fastest time of the season, clocking a finish of 6.91 and taking seventh place.
- 60m Hurdles Final: Lucca Pizzimbono finished seventh and set a new personal best with a time of 8.39.
- 400m: Micah McKenzie placed second and set a new personal record with a time of 48.57. Alex Lambert took 10th, recording a time of 49.56, while Pizzimbono finished 19th with a time of 50.55.
- 200m: Givan (21.68) and Davenport (21.77) secured top 10 finishes, placing eighth and tenth, respectively. McKenzie took 16th with a time of 22.01, followed by Jackson McCusker ( 22.02, 17th) and Jordan James (22.38, 30th).
- 800m: Daniel McCarthy captured a top 5 finish after crossing the finish line with a time of 1:52.95. Lucian Gleiser took 18th with a time of 1:56.79.
- Long Jump: Teyi Thomas took 11th with a mark of 6.27 (20-07.00).
- Triple Jump: Thomas placed 10th with a mark of 13.65 (44-09.50).
