WASHINGTON – Georgetown University men's basketball's
Malik Mack was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for the second-consecutive week, as announced by the league office in New York on Monday. The award comes after the Hoyas went 1-1 last week, besting Creighton 76–68 at Capital One Arena on Wednesday night while falling 80-71 to the visiting Villanova Wildcats on Saturday. The honors mark the Blue & Gray's eighth recognition from the league and Mack's second nod to the honor roll this season.
MALIK MACK (JUNIOR / GUARD / 6-2 / 175 / OXON HILL, MD.) - BIG EAST HONOR ROLL
- In a 1-1 week, Mack averaged 20.5 ppg on 44.0% (11-25) shooting from the field and 87.5% (14-16) from the charity stripe.
- In the win against Creighton to even the season series, the junior managed 20 points to go along with six rebounds and two assists. Against Villanova, he tallied a squad-best 21 points to go along with three rebounds and a team-best three helpers.
- Mack ranks 10th in the BIG EAST in scoring with 14.5 ppg while recording 4.3 apg to rank sixth in the league.
- This is Mack's second accolade from the league this season and third in his career, previously being named to the Honor Roll on February 2, 2026 and January 6, 2025.
- It is the eighth recognition for the Blue & Gray this campaign as KJ Lewis and Julius Halaifonua have also picked up honors.
