WASHINGTON – The Georgetown softball team came back to defeat Drexel in 10 innings 4-3 at Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy on Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Drexel got on the board early after Kalea Calugay hit a double to bring Kylah Reading across home plate.
- The Dragons extended their lead 2-0 after earning one run in the top of the third.
- The Hoyas tied the contest in the bottom of the third after Emily Strittmater hit a double that brought Brooke Rebhan and Nina Sarlo across home plate.
- After six scoreless innings, Drexel scored one run in the top of the tenth but the Hoyas came back to score two runs in the bottom of the inning to secure the 4-3 victory.

The Hoyas will take on George Mason in a midweek doubleheader matchup on Wednesday, March 1 at noon in Fairfax, Virginia.
