WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University softball team fell 8-4 to the Creighton University Bluejays on Saturday in the final contest of a BIG EAST Conference series at the Creighton Softball Stadium in Omaha, Nebraska. With the loss, the Hoyas drop to 14-16 overall and 7-8 in league play, while the Bluejays improve to 23-21 for the season and 11-4 in the league.

How it Happened
- Creighton took an early 3-0 lead off a double in the bottom of the third, and a two-run homer the following inning.
- With two runners on and two outs, Campos stepped up to the plate and sent a long ball over the left field fence to knot the game at three.
- Creighton regained the lead in the bottom of the fifth on a wild pitch, followed by a grand slam that extended the lead to 8-3.
- Francis hit one into the gap with two runners on, allowing Turner to score in the top of the seventh. However, the rally fell short as GU lost 8-4.
