WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's golf team tied for third place in the Bryan National Collegiate at the Champions Course at Bryan Park in Greensboro, North Carolina. The Hoyas carded rounds of 287, 292 and 281 (4-under par) in the par-72, 7,255-yard course for the event. A pair of Hoyas placed in the top-10 in the field with Carson Erick tying for second place and Drew Schauenberg tying for tenth.

HOYA RESULTS

• Carson Erick led the Hoyas with a runner-up finish at 10-under par. The sophomore opened with a 71 before carding rounds of 68 and 67 to finish the tournament at 10-under.
• Drew Schauenberg posted two rounds under par en route to a four-way tie for 10th at two-under par. The sophomore carded rounds of 69, 70 and 75 in his first tournament of his second season with the Hoyas.
• Barnes Blake finished tied for 33rd at 3-over par, posting rounds of 74, 78 and 67.
• Competing as an individual, George McGlinn finished tied for 49th at six-over par after rounds of 76, 72 and 74.
• CJ Winchenbaugh and Alan Rose rounded out the Hoya lineup, finishing tied for 69th and tied for 71st, respectively. Winchenbaugh finished at 13-over par, while Rose carded a 14-over-par finish.

OF NOTE

• This weekend's tournament marks Erick's second runner-up finish of his collegiate career.
