WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's golf team placed runner-up in The Goat at the Naval Academy Golf Club in Annapolis, Maryland. The Hoyas carded rounds of 286, 293 and 280 (7-over par) in the par-71, 6,970-yard course for the event. A pair of Hoyas placed in the top-10 in the field with Carson Erick taking second place and Barnes Blake tying for ninth.

HOYA RESULTS
- Carson Erick led the Hoyas with a runner-up finish at two-under par. The sophomore entered a three-way sudden death playoff at the end of the 54-hole event and narrowly fell to UConn's Kai Jun Huang. Erick shot rounds of 68, 73 and 70.
- Barnes Blake posted rounds of 73, 74 and 68 en route to a three-way tie for ninth place at two-over par.
- CJ Winchenbaugh finished tied for 18th at five-over par, posting rounds of 73, 75 and 70.
- Drew Shauenberg and George McGlinn rounded out the Hoya lineup, both finishing tied for 46th. They both finished the event at 11-over par.
OF NOTE
- This weekend's tournament marks Erick's third runner-up finish of his collegiate career and his second straight.
