WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's Head Swimming & Diving Coach
John Carroll announced the addition of Bryce Mortimer as an assistant coach for the Hoyas program in September 2026.
"We are very happy to welcome Bryce to Georgetown," said Carroll. "From the initial stages of our hiring process, Bryce stood out because of his passion for the sport, his drive to support our student-athletes, and his desire to be the best all-around coach he can be. We are fortunate to have Bryce join us on the Hilltop, and I am excited to see him grow with our program."
Mortimer comes to Georgetown after spending the summer of 2026 working with Queens University of Charlotte. While with the Royals, he assisted with all facets of the program, including practice planning, recruiting operations, and video analysis.
Prior to beginning his coaching career, Mortimer was a standout student-athlete at Old Dominion University, serving as team captain during his senior season. A two-time ASUN individual conference champion and key relay performer for the Monarchs, Mortimer completed both his undergraduate degree and a master's in sport management during his time at ODU.
